Appointed Group Managing Director in 2000.   Mervyn Blackburn 01603 727651 mervyn.blackburn@boswell-insurance.co.uk Mervyn Blackburn joined Norwich Union in 1960 and moved to Royal Sun Alliance in1967. Following thirty years in a variety of sales and management roles within Royal Sun Alliance, joined Boswells as Senior Account Manager in 1997.   Nick Chambers 01603 727648 nick.chambers@boswell-insurance.co.uk Nick Chambers began working for Norwich Union in 1994, and after several years of continual promotion, became an account manager of a national insurance brokerage. Specialising in corporate insurances, joined Boswells in 2001 & appointed a Director of Hugh J Boswell in April 2004.   Ashley Minors 01603 727650 ashley.minors@boswell-insurance.co.uk Ashley Minors after successful completion of a two-year Business Study Diploma Course, was recruited by Boswells in June 2001. Promoted following intensive training to specialise in Corporate Broking services. Promoted to Senior Executive status in 2007.   Peter Foster 01603 727646 peter.foster@boswell-insurance.co.uk Peter Foster began working for Sedgwick Risk Services in 1996 and after several years moved to Norwich Union. Specialising in commercial insurances and the broker market, joined Boswells as a Commercial Account Executive in January 2005 & appointed as a Director of Hugh J Boswell in October 2006.   Nigel Gierth 01603 727641 nigel.gierth@boswell-insurance.co.uk Nigel Gierth joined Boswells from Health Lambert Consulting a National Broker (Regional Director). Previously a director of Castlegate Financial Management, a leading provincial broker, has held a number of senior posts both in broking and life assurance companies.   Rob Rowley 01603 727653 rob.rowley@boswell-insurance.co.uk Rob Rowley began working as a Loss Assessor in 1991, specialising in significant insurance losses. Became ACII qualified in 1997. Moved to a Birmingham based broker and was subsequently promoted to the Corporate Broking Team. Following fifteen years industry experience, joined Boswells in 2006 as a Commercial Account Executive.   Richard Sayer 01603 727645 richard.sayer@boswell-insurance.co.uk Richard Sayer has worked for several leading insurance brokers in the region, including National Broker Heath Fenchurch. His last position was a unique sales and underwriting role with AXA Insurance Co. Richard joined Boswells in April 2007 as a Corporate Account Executive, bringing valuable experience to the team. Mike Saunders 01603 727647 michael.saunders@boswell-insurance.co.uk Mike Saunders began work at Willis Faber, a firm of Lloyds brokers in 1979. Moving to Financial Services in 1984, he has worked for major life insurers, national and local brokers as well as medical charities.
